"Win the Future" Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs (Oceania) has been providing a great opportunity for the start-ups to showcase their innovative ideas. The annual contest had been held successfully seven times in Oceania already. The year of 2020 has been challenging; however, the Oceania Finale of the 8th "Win the Future" Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs continues to be and has presented high-level innovative teams and their projects to all.
This year’s Oceania Finale took place in Sydney Haymarket HQ, Level 2, 63 Dixon Street, Haymarket NSW 2000 on 29th October 2020. It was carried out on-site in Sydney and in Suzhou simultaneously via online streaming. New challenge, new technology, new thinking, and the same passion for entrepreneurship to be brought to its launching.
We have invited various experts from all walks of industrialisation, e.g. Director Ms Zeng from Stone Venture Capital, Ms Shen from Sid Venture Capital, Institute Deputy from Zhejiang University and Professor Zheng from Suzhou University, etc.
After a rigorous review by the judges, contestant Gu Jia and her Biosceptre project won the First Prize; contestant Zhang Ruiheng’s IoT Positioning Sensor project and Sun Junbo’s Health Monitoring Cloud Platform project won the Second Prize; contestant Zhang Yuan’s AI Sensing Device project, Tan Songwen's New Drug Customization project and Ge Zeyu's 5G project ranked third.
The global finals of the 2020 "Win the Future" Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs will be held in Suzhou at the end of December this year. Best wishes to the entrepreneurial heroes from Oceania will be more and more courageous in their future journeys.
